Privacy notice

At Neural Earth Inc and its subsidiaries and affiliates (jointly, the "Company"), accessible from https://neural-earth.io, other affiliated websites, or through its mobile applications (collectively, the "Platform"), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy contains types of information that are collected and recorded by Neural and how we use that information. This Privacy Policy is applicable to any activities a visitor engages in while on the Platform.

Information we collect

We may collect the following Personal Information about you:

  • Your name;
  • A copy of or information from your government-issued identification document;
  • Your address;
  • Your business's name, address, website and phone number;
  • Your phone number;
  • Your email address;
  • Your date of birth;
  • Your Social Security or tax identification number;
  • Your IP address;
  • Your financial transaction history (including your bank account information);
  • "Protected health information" (as defined by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices); and
  • Any other personal information you provide to us which we believe is necessary to maintain a customer account or provide a full experience of the Platform.

The Personal Information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your Personal Information or otherwise consent to.

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us and any other information you may choose to provide.

Your Personal Information may be transmitted to other parties which we rely upon in order to provide our services to you who may retain it pursuant to their own privacy policies.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our Platform;
  • Improve, personalize, and expand our Platform;
  • Provide functionality of our Platform to you and other users;
  • Provide recommendations for other information, products, and services to you;
  • Understand and analyze how you use our Platform;
  • Collect anonymized data to understand trends in our customer base;
  • Develop new products, services, features, and functionality;
  • Communicate with you, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the website or our products, and for marketing and promotional purposes;

Log files

The Company follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

California residents

We collect personal information from a variety of sources, including from third-party service providers (e.g., social media providers, payment processors, analytics providers, search engines), from our affiliates, and from publicly available sources.

Use of Personal Information

We may use or disclose the personal information we collect for one or more of the following business purposes:

  • To fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information. For example, if you share your name and contact information to request a quote or ask a question about our services, we will use that personal information to respond to your inquiry.
  • To provide, support, personalize, and develop our Platform, products, and services.
  • To create, maintain, customize, and secure your account with us.
  • To process your requests, purchases, transactions, and payments and prevent transactional fraud.
  • To provide you with support and to respond to your inquiries, including investigating and addressing your concerns and monitoring and improving our responses.
  • To personalize your Platform experience and to deliver content and service offerings relevant to your interests.
  • To help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our Platform, products and services, databases and other technology assets, and business.
  • For testing, research, analysis, and product development, including to develop and improve our Platform, products, and services.
  • To respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations.
  • To evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets.

We will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice.

Sharing personal information

We may disclose your personal information to a third party for a business purpose. When we disclose personal information for a business purpose, we enter a contract that describes the purpose and requires the recipient to both keep that personal information confidential and not use it for any purpose except performing the contract.

We share your personal information with the following categories of third parties:

  • Service providers.
  • Data aggregators.
  • Third parties to whom you or your agents authorize us to disclose your personal information in connection with the products or services we provide to you.

In the preceding twelve (12) months, the Company has disclosed the following categories of personal information for a business purpose: identifiers; California Customer Records personal information categories; protected classification characteristics; commercial information; internet or other similar network activity; geolocation data; sensory data; professional or employment-related information; non-public education information; and inferences drawn from other personal information.

Your rights and choices

The CCPA provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make the request.

Response timing and format

We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request's receipt.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

Non-discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices or rates, provide you a different level or quality of goods or services, or suggest that you may receive a different price, rate, or level of quality.

Other California privacy rights

California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our Platform that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Changes to our privacy notice

We reserve the right to amend this privacy notice at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this privacy notice, we will post the updated notice on the Platform and update the notice's effective date. Your continued use of our Platform following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
